Abstract:
In order to optimize the deployment of passive radar based on multi-source illuminators, the relationship between the detection coverage area and the baseline length of a single passive radar is deeply analyzed and then an optimal method is presented under the condition of normalized detection coverage area as the optimal criteria. An optimal deployment simulation with scenes of two and three source illuminators is performed. The coverage of the system and improve the detection efficiency of the system can be increased effectively by the optimal deployment of the receiving station and the optimal selection of source illuminators. An important reference for the optimizing and application of passive radar system can be provided by the research conclusion.
