结合分形维数与跟踪连续性指标的紧凑型地波雷达

    A Track Quality Evaluation Method Using Fractal Dimension and Tracking Continuity Metrics for Compact HFSWR

    • 摘要: 准确性和连续性是衡量目标航迹质量的两个重要指标,紧凑型高频地波雷达目标定位精度低,跟踪得到的航迹波动大、易断裂。为了评价紧凑型高频地波雷达跟踪得到的航迹质量,提出了一种结合分形维数与跟踪连续性指标的紧凑型高频地波雷达航迹质量评价方法。引入分形维数衡量航迹的波动性,估计雷达航迹与真实航迹之间的波动差异以评价目标航迹的准确性;结合航迹跟踪时长和丢点率评价目标跟踪的连续性,并将三个指标加权形成了航迹综合质量指标。利用仿真和实测地波雷达航迹数据开展了航迹质量评价实验,其结果表明:提出的综合质量指标能够有效地反映航迹质量变化,无需目标状态真实值作为先验信息。分形维数指标与现有利用目标运动参数的归一化质量指标相比,分形维数指标结果的均值标准差减少了67.8 %,评价结果更稳定。

       

      Abstract: Accuracy and consistency are two important indicators of the quality for the target trajectory. The target localization accuracy of compact high frequency surface wave radar is low, which leads to the track obtained by tracking fluctuating and break easily. In order to evaluate the track quality of compact high frequency surface wave radar, a track quality evaluation method using fractal dimension and tracking continuity metrics is proposed. The fractal dimension is introduced to measure the complexity of the track in space, and the fluctuation difference between the radar track and the real track is estimated to evaluate the accuracy of the target track. The track tracking duration and the lost point rate are used to evaluate the continuity of the target tracking, and then the three indexes are weighted to form a comprehensive track quality index. The experimental results with simulated data and field data show that the proposed comprehensive quality index can effectively reflect the changes in track quality without the real values of the target state as a priori information. Compared with the existing normalized quality index using target motion parameters, the mean standard deviation of the fractal dimension index results is reduced by 67.8 %, and the evaluation results are more stable and reliable.
