机载阵列雷达风电场杂波精细建模

    Refined Modeling and Feature Analysis of Wind Farm Clutter for Airborne Array Radar

    • 摘要: 风电场杂波可能导致机载雷达出现目标跟踪能力下降,对其目标检测及参数估计性能产生影响,因此,对机载雷达风电场回波特性进行有效分析具有重要意义。文中提出一种考虑风轮机实际电磁散射特性及载机平台运动特性的机载阵列雷达风电场回波信号精细建模方法。该方法利用物理光学法计算载机平台处于不同位置时对应的不同姿态下的风轮机雷达散射截面积,并与阵列天线回波信号模型相结合,实现任意观测点各通道风轮机回波信号的精细建模。在此基础上,探究平台的运动及短相干处理时间对机载雷达风电场杂波精细建模的影响。实验结果表明,平台的运动会导致风轮机雷达散射截面变化从而影响回波信号强度,考虑风轮机杂波电磁散射特性的回波信号精细建模能够实现风电场杂波的精细化描述。

       

      Abstract: Wind farm clutter may lead to the problem of reduced target tracking ability of airborne radar, which affects its target detection and parameter estimation performance, so it is of great significance to effectively analyze the echo characteristics of wind farm for the airborne radar. Therefore, a fine modeling method of wind farm echoes for the airborne array radar considering the actual electromagnetic scattering characteristics of wind turbine is proposed. The physical optical method is used to calculate the radar cross section of wind turbine under the different attitudes, and the echoes model for the array radar is combined to realize the fine modeling of wind turbine echoes at any observation point. On this basis, the influence of platform motion and short coherent processing interval on the fine modeling of the wind farm clutter is explored. The experimental results show that the movement of the platform will cause the radar cross section variance of the wind turbines, which will affect the amplitude of the radar echoes, and the fine modeling of the radar echoes considering the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the wind turbine clutter can realize the fine description of the wind farm clutter.
