Abstract:
In response to the pain points of wide operating frequency band, multiple channels, and multiple wave states during the testing process of Ka/Ku band active phased array antennas, this article innovatively proposes an efficient testing system for active phased array antennas with strict timing control. This system provides an efficient, accurate, and reliable method for testing the performance of active phased array antennas. The relationship between signals in antenna testing and implements strict timing control using FPGA is analyzed in this paper. In addition, combined with C # programming language, a highly visible and easy to operate control system has been developed, achieving efficient and high-precision automated testing. At present, the system has been successfully applied to the development and production of Ka/Ku dual-band dual-polarization active phased array antenna products, and has played an important role.
