Abstract:
A new phase difference angle tracking quantization coding method is proposed to address the problems of traditional radar countermeasure reconnaissance, such as increased complexity of quantization coding circuit, non-uniformity of quantization, and severe temperature drift, as the number of encoding bits increases. This method compares the analog phase difference angle with the digital output angle to form a control error, which controls the addition and subtraction of parallel reversible counters to achieve digital angle tracking of the analog angle and obtain the digital encoding output result of the phase difference angle. This method has the advantages of simple implementation method, fast encoding speed, no quantization non-uniformity and temperature drift issues, and does not significantly increase the complexity of circuit implementation due to the increase of encoding bits. The circuit principle design was provided and circuit simulation was conducted, indicating that the method has low conversion error from analog angle to digital angle and high conversion accuracy.
