Abstract: Industrial design is increasingly emphasized in modern product structure design, under the premise of satisfying the function and performance, the product should have splendid art effect. For this reason, people put forward higher requirement to modeling design. This paper explains the significance of modeling design for equipment on national defense, expounds the function and composition of the structure for large-scale phased array radar, according to industrial design ideas and concepts, applies the principle of morphological aesthetics to the structural modeling design of the radar, and based on comparison design analysis, then the compact, stable and artistic structure can be realized. The design method proposed in this paper can also be referred to other similar structure designs.
