    Maximum Likelihood Height Measurement Method for Meter Wave MIMO Radar Based on Dimensionality Reduction Preprocessing

    • 摘要: 基于米波多输入多输出(Multiple input multiple output, MIMO)雷达实现低空目标高度测量,能够显著提升高度测量精度,然而,这一过程中数据计算量会大幅增加。为解决该问题,本文基于最大似然算法,分别从数据域和波束域降维预处理的角度出发,提出了两种低空目标高度测量方法,在保持精度的同时有效降低了算法复杂程度,更有利于在实际工程中应用。经仿真实验验证,本文所提方法具备有效性和正确性。

       

      Abstract: Utilizing meter-wave multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar for the height measurement of low- altitude targets can significantly improve the accuracy of height measurement. However, the amount of data calculation in this process will increase substantially. To address this issue, this paper proposes two height measurement methods for low-altitude targets based on the maximum likelihood algorithm from the perspectives of dimensionality reduction preprocessing in the data domain and the beam domain respectively. These methods can effectively reduce the algorithm complexity while maintaining the accuracy, which is more conducive to practical engineering applications. The simulation experiments verify the effectiveness and correctness of the methods proposed in this paper.
