电源纹波对接收前端噪声系数的影响

    The Impact of Power Supply Ripple on the Noise Figure of the Receiver Front-end

    • 摘要: 在雷达系统中,接收前端功能是负责放大接收到的微弱回波信号,确保信号能够被后续电路有效处理。噪声系数是衡量放大器或系统引入噪声程度的关键指标。噪声系数的高低直接影响信号的保真度和系统的灵敏度。本文基于一种集成电源变换的接收前端设计,分析其电源纹波对其噪声系数的影响。最后,通过优化电源设计,有效的抑制了电源纹波,改善了接收前端的噪声系数,显著提升了信号的纯净度和雷达系统的整体性能。

       

      Abstract: In radar systems, the receive front-end function is responsible for amplifying the weak echo signals received, ensuring that the signals can be effectively processed by subsequent circuits. The noise figure is a critical metric for evaluating the degree of noise introduced by an amplifier or system. The level of the noise figure directly affects the fidelity of the signal and the sensitivity of the system. This paper is based on the design of a receive front-end with an integrated DC/DC power supply, analyzing the impact of power supply ripple on its noise figure. Finally, by optimizing the power supply design, power supply ripple was effectively suppressed, improving the noise figure of the receive front-end and significantly enhancing the purity of the signal and the overall performance of the radar systems.
