一种毫米波双极化天线的端口互耦抑制方法

    A De-Coupling Method for Millimeter-Wave Dual-Polarized Antenna

    • 摘要: 毫米波双极化天线以其高频和高极化兼容性的优势,被广泛应用于高速大容量无线通信、高精度雷达等领域。在该类天线研究中,双极化端口互耦抑制是一个关键课题。然而,由于其物理空间受限,另设独立的去耦结构不仅难以加设,还会影响天线的辐射性能。本文提出一种新型互耦抑制方法,其通过引入一路新的互耦通道,并调控新—原互耦通道之间的电磁关系,实现对端口间互耦的有效抑制。该方法无需另设独立的去耦结构,即可显著抑制端口耦合,且不影响天线辐射特性。基于此方法设计的天线例实现较好的互耦抑制,其−20 dB互耦抑制带宽达9.89%,在该频带内互耦抑制效果达5.1 dB-41.2 dB之间,充分验证所提方法。

       

      Abstract: Millimeter-wave dual-polarized antennas have been widely used in high-speed, large-capacity wireless communications and high-precision radar systems due to their high operating frequency and excellent polarization compatibility. Coupling reduction between the dual-polarized ports is a key topic in this research area. However, due to space constraints, introducing additional decoupling structures is not only difficult to implement, but also degrades the antenna’s radiation performance. This study presents a novel decoupling strategy that includes an additional coupling channel, and the total coupling will be effectively reduced by manipulating the electromagnetic relationship between the additional and original couplings. The proposed method can significantly reduce coupling without requiring separate decoupling structures, while preserving the antenna’s radiation features. An antenna example developed on this method shows a good decoupling performance, with a −20 dB decoupling bandwidth of 9.14% and a coupling reduction of 5.1 dB to 41.2 dB in this band, verifying the proposed method.
