基于有源定标器的CTLR模式简缩极化SAR定标方法

    Calibration of CTLR mode Compact Polarimetric SAR Utilizing Active Radar Calibrators

    • 摘要: 为获取高质量简缩极化(Compact Polarimetric, CP) SAR数据,一方面利用内定标技术对系统各部分在成像过程中的幅相变化进行监测,另一方面利用外定标技术对传输链路中的各项误差源进行分析补偿。该文提出了一种基于有源定标器的圆发线收(Circular Transmit and Linear Receive, CTLR)模式简缩极化SAR外定标方法,只需要利用三台具有不同极化散射特性的有源定标器即可实现对系统极化失真参数的无偏估计,具有闭环解析与简洁高效的特点。仿真实验结果表明,该方法包含的四种定标器组合方案均能够在考虑噪声和定标器固有误差的情况下进行高精度标定,验证了所提方法的正确性。

       

      Abstract: To obtain high-quality compact polarimetric (CP) synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data, internal calibration is used to monitor amplitude and phase variations within the radar system during imaging, while external calibration is required to analyze and compensate for errors in the transmit-receive (T/R) link. This paper proposes an external calibration method for circular transmit and linear receive (CTLR) mode compact polarimetric SAR based on active radar calibrators. The method requires only three active radar calibrators with different polarization scattering characteristics to achieve unbiased estimation of the system polarization distortion parameters, featuring closed-form analytical solutions along with simplicity and high efficiency. Simulation results demonstrate that all four calibrator combination schemes included in the proposed method can achieve high-precision calibration under the influence of noise and inherent calibrator errors, thereby validating the correctness of the presented method.
