Abstract: Three extracting methods, including manual extracting, semi-automatic extracting and automatic extracting, are usually used while a radar extracts target information. This paper analyzes the principle and properties of the three extracting methods. In order to give full scope to the capability of target extractor, we propose the design idea and realization plan which are compatible completely with three extracting methods. The quantity and quality of extracted target information can be maintained when the extractor works in a bad environment.
