Abstract: In radar scan display system, how to convert radar echo signal to raster scan display signal is the most important technology and the performance of the coordinate conversion processor is a key factor of the system. A new radar signal coordinate conversion processor based on CORDIC (coordinate rotation digital computer) is introduced, and the design process and hardware simulation results are presented in this paper.
