Abstract: Target and sea clutter characteristics are analyzed. A method of detecting periscope against the background of strong sea clutters is introduced. A processing method and the principle of restraining sea clutter of three-dimensional filter, that is tracking-before-detection, are emphatically described. Simulation and test results are given.
