Abstract: A method of Hough transform based data correlation is presented in this paper. It can be used for either initialization of various target tracking algorithms or automatic processing of radar data. The main principle of this method is to map the target plots in the Cartesian coordinate system into parameter space through the Hough transform, where they will be clustered. Finally, the resulted plot clusters for different targets in the Cartesian coordinate system can be converted into a target track after data fusion.
