Abstract: Filter is a key unit of adjacent frequency channel synthesizer and coupling problem is a key point in the design of a filter. In this paper, a coupling design problem of simple shunt cavity modes as well as cavity and end face, which are used in a TE 111 double mode cylindrical cavity elliptical function filter, is described and overcome by using tuned screws and coupling screws. Finally, actual measured data of the products designed using this method are given and customers are satisfied with this product.
