Abstract:
The test instruments, methods and data proccessing for wind load and deformation characteristics of a radar antenna are describled briefly. The important study results obtained for conic and paraboloid antennas show that the coefficients of drag and orient moment of conic radar antenna are 1.34 and 4.0 times as large as those of paraboloid antenna, respectively. However, the maximum elastic deformation of conic antenna are 75 per cent of that of paraboloid antenna. The completely different characteristics of wind load and deformation of these two kinds of radar antennas were analysed in this paper.
