Abstract: In this paper, design of ScanSAR swath, dwell time assignment and Doppler bandwidth of each sub-swath are studied , and beam positions and the results of calculation about azimuth and range ambiguities are given according to the parameters of the satellite and radar. The results of simulation show that the ambiguity levels of each beam position can satisfy limitation of parameters of the radar and the satellite.
