Abstract: Surface-wave over-the-horizon radar has the ability of detecting the target over the horizon,it also has the merits of anti-stealth and anti-interference. The shipborne and bistatic/multi-static radar system of surface wave OTH radars represent its development trend.According to the principle of shipborne surface-wave radar,synthetic impulse aperture radar and bistatic radar,several key techniques of mobile bistatic surface-wave over-the-horizon radar are studied and its development trend is pointed out.
