Abstract: This paper discusses the meter wave radar position conditions of the traditional effective reflection area and the coarse ground. It presents a brand new idea that ellipse curve is applied to enhance the coverage distance of meter wave radar (the detailed ellipse function is presented) by integrating the energy of the reflection on different ground points. Through selecting appropriate the curve length of the reflection surface, it can reduce the reflection clutter of the near ground and improve the detection ability of low altitude.
