Abstract: A special broadband network-based distributed remote-controlled radar is presented, and the development of the current broadband networks is introduced. The feasibility to transmit radar video signals and other related signals with the broadband network is discussed. Finally a communal broadband LAN is used to simulate the radar signal transmition, and satisfactory results are obtained.
