Abstract: A C-band pulse Doppler weather radar receiver is described in detail in this paper. Large dynamic range receiving, low-phase noise frequency synthesizing, build in frequency stability testing, real-time calibrating for the system and advanced BITE are used in the receiver. And good results were obtained. At present, the radar has become the backbone radar for weather radar networking in our country.
