Abstract: Several methods of realizing PCI interface are compared in this paper.The PCI2040 chip which provides a seamless connection between PCI interface and DSP is selected. The main features and the control methods of PCI2040 are introduced. The method of realizing a multi-functional interface card is described which can perform the input of high-speed digital signals, the output of digital control signals, the sampling and processing of analog signals and the generation of analog signals. The main features of the card is also described. Finally the methods of developing a driver are introduced.
