Abstract: In this paper a sub-array processing algorithm is proposed which requires conventional SAR antenna be divided into several sub-arrays with one sub-array transmitting and all sub-arrays receiving. The proposed algorithm can achieve both large swath width, high azimuth resolution SAR imaging of ground scene and ground moving target detection.
