Abstract: In this paper, the relation ship between the azimuth resolution and the azimuth echo spectrum is carefully analyzed,and an algorithm for improving azimuth resolution of the distributed space-borne SAR system by the azimuth echo spectrum joint processing is proposed. The result of simulation indicates that the azimuth echo spectrum joint processing can improve azimuth resolution.
