Abstract:
According to the operation mode of wide-band radar, DRFM is proposed to use for jamming wide-band radar imaging. The model of false target is firstly derived and the principle of 1-D imaging is explained. A new method using frequency modulation is presented to jam radar range imaging. The method can destroy radar imaging in range and can form false range profiles. Combined with real measured radar data, numerical simulation are used to test the method. Results show that the new method is feasible for jamming 1-D and 2-D radar imaging.
