Abstract: The paper gives a brief introduction to the characteristics of two kinds of slotted array antenna,which are as follows : One is assembled in an integral way and the other is produced with the thick aluminum plate.The key points to the mechanical structures of the design,as well as technological developmemt and manufacture are discussed.The advantages of the former kind which can largely improve efficiency of the antenna system and cut down costs of the development of radar in mass production are also illustrated.
