Abstract: This paper introduces the principle and technique of internal calibration of spaceborne active array SAR.The main purpose of internal calibration is to measure the relative changes of transmitted power and receiver gain,and also to be used for monitoring TR module failures and qualitative analysis of the performance of active antenna.To improve measurement precision requires the equipment of internal calibration has little change of performance with temperature in its life-span.
