Abstract: This paper introduces the principles,the design and realization of software and hardware for the embedded radar video server.For the hardware design,the high-speed data signal processor(DSP) has been applied to the radar video compression processing to solve many critical technical problems such as high-speed information exchange,real-time compression processing and so on.For the compression algorithms,this paper studies the characteristics of the radar video signals in detail and designed special complex compression techniques.The system is universal,modularized and powerfully programmable and can meet the requirements of the real-time display and record.
