Abstract: Low-resolution radar target recognition has always been a difficult problem in target recognition. Since the radars in our country, are almost all low-resolution radars, so there are real meaning and urgent requirements to intensity the research of the low-resolution radar target recognition. Based on radar in active service radar, the key technology of target recognition is studied. The methods of feature extraction based on the Gray-level Map are proposed, and the experiments are made by using the features as input of RBF NN, which lead to a satisfactory recognition result.
