Abstract: On the analysis of one dimensional imaging question when using step frequency radar, we give a novel imaging method. Firstly, the velocity of targets was estimated based on the fractional fourier transform. Secondly, the velocity effects was compensated by the estimated parameters. Lastly, we use the improved rotation shift sticking method to obtain the panoramic range profile in the range gate. The simulation result shows we can get better range profile under lower snr and high speed using the proposed method. The method's computation burden was lower, so it has better applied value.
