Abstract: With the construction of radar network, the commander of the radar control center want greatly to watch every radar ppi display of the battlefield. Compression and transmission of the video data are the key technology of the long-distance watching system of radar ppi display. According to the real radar data, biothogonal lifting wavelet transformed is carried in the article, and then coded with SPIHT algorithm. Experiment result shows that the fidelity of the rebuilding video data is very high, the performance of real time is good, and the rate of the data suffice the need of project.
