Abstract: In this paper,technical development of ground-based air intelligence 3D radars is introduced and its development,status and characteristics of typical ground-based air intelligence 3D radars are presented.In current complex EM environment,detection of targets of ground-based air intelligence radars is shifted from those of aircrafts,helicopters and UAVs to stealth aircrafts,near-space targets and Tactical Ballistic Missiles(TBM).Future technical trends of ground-based air intelligence 3D radars are discussed in detail on basis of new military requirements for corresponding radar systrems.
