Abstract:
Firstly,a HF-SAR signal model of a single moving target is set up.Then we design an imaging algorithm for moving targets based on range-Doppler algorithm with Range Cell Migration Correction(RCMC) in frequency domain and an azimuth pulse compression function appropriate to moving targets. Finally,we compare the imaging results of moving targets with the azimuth pulse compression functions for static and moving targets respectively through numerical simulation. The conclusion is that the radial velocity results in a shift of image position, and the cross-range velocity induces defocusing effect.Simulation results show that precise imaging of moving targets by HF-SAR can be implemented with the designed algorithm. It indicates that HF-SAR is feasible to be used in moving point target imaging with a single site radar.
