Abstract: Action mechanism of electronic magnetic pulse(EMP) to weapons is introduced. The characteristic of natural electromagnetic pulse and electro-magnetic pulse weapon are analyzed. Based on the two electro-magnetic pulse threats to battlefield,countermeasures for equipments and battle under condition of intense EMP environment are presented. The countermeasures includes ability of EMP, training level of EMP countermeasures, EMP protection.
