Abstract: In order to detect moving targets in clutter, a new method of clutter suppression is proposed—speed filter connected withHough transform. According to the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods,different methods are taken with the “slidingwindow”assay in different regions of the radar scanned,the linear moving target is detected and high efficiency and the effect ofclutter suppression is achieved effectively . In this paper, several experiments are studied, the influence is made with the method ofspeed filter on the false alarm rate and missed alarm rate,and when combined with Hough transform, the different influences appearon the two facts. In a word,this method is simple, and its calculation is small,besides,the method of clutter suppression workswell.
