Abstract: The history and function of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in air force strategic early warning is summarized. Four keyabilities and the development trend of UAV for strategic early warning is analyzed from the strategic perspective. The advantage andassignment of UAV involved in the strategic early warning is emphasized. Finally, the performance requirement and operation application of strategic early warning UAV are unscrambled through charts and tables. The purpose of the paper is to offer some ideafor reference on the UAV used in the field of air force strategic early warning.
