Abstract: Data fusion technology is the core technology of the multi-sensor information systems. A novel method for data fusion assessment is proposed to evaluate the performance of data fusion system subjectively, comprehensively and effectively. Firstly, afterseveral assessment indicators are introduced, the definition of each indicator is given and the computing process is elaborated.Then, on the basis of the analysis of constraints of the weight,recommended value of weight in certain scenario is given. The normalization is also discussed in this paper. Finally, the method is validated by emluator experiments, and it is realized in real engineer projects. The result shows that the method is feasible and effective, it has a reference value for constitute data fusion evaluation system.
