Abstract:
This paper proposes a novel algorithm for fast space spectrum direction-of-arrival (DOA) based on the test of orthogonality of frequency (TOFS). The method combines fast subspace algorithm and energy threshold algorithm in executing TOFS. Fast subspace algorithm is used for every threshold-passing narrowband signal, and then matrix conjugated reconstruction method is combined with TOFS algorithm, which solves the shortcoming of TOFS algorithm that can not process coherent sources. With the proposed algorithm, initial estimations of DOA and reference frequencies are unnecessary, decorrelation can be realized, and the calculation comlexcity is decreases. Computer simulations demonstrate that the presented algorithm is a more efficient algorithm for estimating the DOA of wideband coherent sources, which its complexity is lower than root mean square error,but its discrimination probability is higher than that when signal-to-noise ratio is above 6 dB.
