数字阵雷达天线波瓣图测试方法与试验验证

    The Antenna Pattern Measurement Method and Experimental Verification for Digital Array Radar

    • 摘要: 针对固定式相控阵雷达在中场法或远场法中不能实时得到天线波瓣图的问题,提出了采用扫描波瓣图替代天线波瓣图进行天线测试的方法。从理论上分别推导了和波束与差波束扫描波瓣图和天线波瓣图的解析式,研究了单元波瓣图对扫描波瓣图和天线波瓣图的影响,指出了在单元波瓣主瓣范围内扫描波瓣图和天线波瓣图近似等价。仿真和试验结果均表明:扫描波瓣图和天线波瓣图在各项性能指标上都是等价的,可用于指导雷达总体依据扫描波瓣图对天线进行验收。

       

      Abstract: According to the problem that the antenna pattern of large phased array radar can not be obtained in real-time by mid-field or far-field method, a novel algorithm that uses scanning pattern as an alternative to antenna pattern is proposed for antenna acceptance. The scanning pattern and antenna pattern expressions of sum beam and difference beam are derived from the theory respectively, then the effects of element pattern to scanning pattern and antenna pattern are studied, which points out a conclusion that the scanning pattern and the antenna pattern are approximately equivalent in the main lobe of element pattern. Simulation and experiment results all indicate that each performance index of scanning pattern and antenna pattern are equivalent. The conclusion of the paper can be used to guide acceptance of digital array radar antenna on the basis of scanning pattern for radar system designer.
