Abstract:
A multi-channel waveguide switch is designed, to meet the requirements of high frequency microwave signal switching multiple channels. A low standing wave and high isolation method of microwave parameters optimization,that on the basis of the conventional axial choke,increasing the circumferential direction and axially polarized choke is presented,greatly improved microwave properties of the waveguide switch. Waveguide switches through relevant theoretical calculations,modeling and design optimization by HFSS simulation software,as well as in-kind prototype testing. The measured results show that the multi-channel waveguide switch reaches the performance of VSWR<1.10, LOSS<0.14 dB, ISO>70 dB in Ka-band(36.5 GHz~40 GHz),as designed.
