Abstract:
Phased array radar event scheduling method is usually based on fixed time windows. However, its tracking accuracy and scheduling success rate are often compromised in case of high speed and high maneuvering targets. To solve this problem, this paper proposes utilizing variable time window to improve the traditional scheduling method. First, the level of non-time-shifting residual error is predicted by the sample residual error of rolling time windows. Then, the impact of time-shifting on residual error is calculated. Finally, real time computation of offset range is limited based on the tracking window size, namely the time window range. Take X-51A high speed and high maneuvering target as an example, simulations of two kinds of actual scenarios are created. Simulation results show that, comparing with the scheduling method with fixed time window, the event scheduling method with variable time window can improve the tracking accuracy and success rate of scheduling.
