Abstract:
Pulse repetition frequency (PRF) is one of the most important parameters in the design of space-based radar systems. Aiming at the problems of space-based targets (satellite, space station, etc.), such as the submarine point echo, pulse occlusion and ground clutter, a method of coverage diagram design under multiple constraints are proposed. According to the orbit distribution of space targets, the typical space-based radar orbit and load parameters are constructed. Based on the traditional coverage diagram design, the constraints of ground clutter are introduced and the evasion is realized. The effects of target orbital height and ground clutter on the coverage diagram are simulated. The simulation results verify the feasibility of normalized observation to the space target using space-based radar, and provide a reference for PRF design.
