Abstract:
As a class of special targets, bullet targets within atmospheric drag has an out of ordinary meaning to be researched on radar detection and tracking. Considering the system computation and engineering implementation difficulty, based on the conventional detection-before-track technology system, as well as modeling and analysis of the bullet target motion, the valid detection and tracking methods for bullet targets are studied concerning two model kinds, that are the constant velocity and the constant acceleration. Significant conclusions are given for the algorithms design of radar detection and tracking through simulation experiments and measured data analysis.
