Abstract:
During the service process, the array antenna will inevitably be affected by various environmental loads, resulting in the deformation of the antenna structure, thus affecting the electrical performance of the array antenna, such as gain decreasing, beam direction shift and maximum sidelobe level rising, etc. Therefore, in order to ensure the electrical performance of the antenna in the service environment, the design of the antenna needs many engineers from multiple disciplines to carry out comprehensive design, thus the process is extremely complex and many interactive data are involved. In order to improve the efficiency of antenna design, taking waveguide slot antenna as an example, with the basis of the secondary development technology and automatic reconstruction technology of parametric modeling, the CAD parametric design of antenna, the CAE mechanical automatic analysis of antenna structure and the CAE model automatic analysis of antenna telecommunication are integrated into a single simulation platform. This platform can realize the integrated simulation from parametric modeling, structural mechanical analysis, and model reconstruction to electrical performance calculation of waveguide slot antenna. Finally, the efficiency of antenna design of this platform is demonstrated using a typical case.
