Abstract: To build advanced space surveillance radar to control the space resource, the overview of foreign land-based space surveillance radar in recent years is presented in this paper first, such as space fence, DARC,PFISR, KSR, MSR, etc. The radar background, main function and performance effective are introduced. After that, the paper concludes the key technique of all these radars such as searching and tracking integration technology, distributed coherent technology, etc. Finally, the inspiration is given from several aspects for development of our space surveillance radar.
