面向多用户相控阵雷达通信的宽带波束赋形研究

摘要: 在远距离自组织网络中,多用户相控阵雷达宽带通信非常有希望提高信号功率、降低干扰、显著提升系统频谱效率。但为了获取这些优势,系统需要合适的宽带波束赋形方案。传统基于角度的最大比值合并(MRC)波束赋形没有抑制用户间干扰,导致系统频谱效率明显降低。为了高效抑制用户间干扰并提升系统频谱效率,文中提出一个基于角度的最小均方误差(MMSE)波束赋形方案。进一步,考虑宽带信号的角度扩展,提出一个宽带MMSE波束赋形方案,使用零陷扩展方法。数值结果表明:与基于角度的MRC、MMSE波束赋形方案相比,所提宽带波束赋形方案可有效抑制用户间宽带干扰,显著提升系统频谱效率。Abstract: In long-range ad-hoc networks, multi-user phased array radar wideband communication seems promising for improving signal power, reducing interference, and greatly increasing system sum spectral efficiency. Proper wideband beamforming scheme is required to obtain these advantages. For the angle-based maximum-ratio combining (MRC) beamforming, the inter-user interference is not suppressed, leading to a great loss of system sum spectral efficiency. An angle-based minimum mean square error (MMSE) beamforming scheme is proposed to suppress inter-user interference and increase system sum spectral efficiency. Further, considering the angle-spread of wideband signals, a wideband MMSE beamforming scheme is proposed using the method of zero-point extension. Numerical results show that compared to angle-based MRC and MMSE beamforming schemes, the proposed wideband beamforming scheme can effectively suppress inter-user wideband interference and greatly increase system sum spectral efficiency.
