Abstract: After the delivery of the airborne active phased array radar, array element or sub-array level failures occur during antenna array use. Due to the outfield environmental conditions, the amplitude and phase of the antenna can′t be calibrated after fault repair. Two in-situ tuning schemes are proposed in this paper, including array element and sub-array level. Also the verification results of the dark room test are proposed. Because of the characteristics of accurate and in-situ test, easy to engineering implementation, the user′s rapid test requirements are met.
