Abstract: With the rapid development of military electronic technology, wideband digital phased-array radar has become an inevitable development trend of radar, which requires the digital TR module to generate arbitrary waveforms. In this paper, a structure of wideband digital TR module with arbitrary waveform generation is presented. Through the beam forming theory, the key technologies to be solved can be obtained. Based on high-speed parallel interface digital to analog converter, a TR module which can generate arbitrary waveforms is designed, the test result of which meets the system requirements. Related study shows guiding significance for the system architecture of wideband phased array radar.
