Abstract: In future wars, there will be significant new changes in maritime threat targets, combat environments, and combat styles, as well as changes in penetration and anti-penetration combat styles, posing new requirements for shipborne radar detection.In this paper the application modes of shipborne radar in maritime anti-penetration operations are discussed and studied. Firstly,the maritime threat targets such as aircraft, missiles and drones are introduced, the maritime anti-penetration operation methods used for maritime threat targets are summarized, and then the application modes of radar in different penetration methods are sorted out, the radar application modes targeting different targets under different combat applications are discussed. Finally, the development trends of shipborne radar are envisoned.
