Abstract:
Distributed multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar system has better localization capabilities. A power allocation algorithm for the integration of radar and communication based on distributed MIMO is proposed in this paper. Based on the constraints of positioning accuracy, communication transmission rate and peak power, an optimization model of transmit power is designed. Firstly, the constraint of radar performance is relaxed to obtain the minimum transmit power of the radar. Then, the inequality constraints of the communication transmission rate are rewritten as equality constraints. On the basis of satisfying the radar performance requirements, the relationship between peak power, channel conditions and communication performance constraints is established. Finally, the interior point method is used to complete the setting of the constrained communication transmission rate, thereby the problem of the distribution of radar and communication transmit power is solved. Numerical simulation results show that the proposed method significantly saves power resources.
